ive been hearing alot about these relics and ive got a couple, but besides for the ones i have i dont even know where to begin looking for the others. can somone tell me the general area that some of these relics are in? sorry to have to bother everyone, i tried the search button but no luck. any replys would be greatly appreciated

What you are calling relics i think i refer to them as artifacts. If so then just complete guild quests, shrine/god job quests, and look around in strange places (like levitate inside shrines or in the towers in the easter cities -the ones that all begin with Tel), and just Explore -its what makes Morrowind so entertaining.
I prefer my own enchanted items over the artifacs- the one you get for completing the main quest is by far the worst [censored] peice of [censored] in the game- but there are a few good ones. like the ring of Khajiit. to get it visit Arena, Vivec. Downstairs in the hidden area talk to the guy in the front and do his request. -This is the only item that i ever really use.

There are two different Vivec/Arena/Canalworks. If you do a little bit of exploring in each im sure you will find a door on the floor marked "Vivec Arena Hidden Area" or something like that.
Talk to one of the guys at the entrance and help him with his sensitive matters.
Then the ring is quite simply given to you.
Well I was gonna tell ya what it does but then wheres the suspense in that. But lets just say that I cant even begin to tell you of the many uses of this ring. You should never find this ring as anything but useful and effective.
By the way its not that hard to get (even for a lvl 1) and you probably could have gotten it in the time it took you to wait/read this post.:sly:

Ring of the Khajiit -

Possibly the hype because all you need to get it is a decent lockpicking skill, or a few cheap open scrolls.

Ring of Khajiit
Weight: 0.1
Value: 18,000
Cast when used
Invisibility for 30 sec on self
Fortify Speed 10-20 pts for 30 sec on self
Charge:265 (with an enchat of 100 i can't remember ever actually running out of charges and i was invisible most of the time.)
I like to give it Hype cause its a F-U-N item
Its easy to get no matter your level or skills.
It doesnt take very long
It has a great Ability
I remember back when I first started playing I used the ring all the time.
It helps while you travel.
It helps a lower lvl character go to places that they couldn't other wise go.
You can steal stuff and then when everyone tries to kill you just vanish and laugh!!! :sly:

I have to agree with Return0 it is a useful item for a new character to get and it isn't to hard to get either but compared to other items in the game you can get at a low level it's vastly inferior e.g. getting a daedric dai-katana at level 1-2 is more useful in my opinion.
I'd be careful using it to help you steal items - remeber you become visible as soon as you steal anything unlike chameleon and as such you run the risk of people seeing you.

i got that guys quest and put the leaves on the guys plates in his house, is that how you poisin him? if not how do you do it?
