I was trying to do this on my own but finally got stumped and found out I kinda skipped some areas. :erg:
I was up to the point of where I was suppose to find Krahoz and return it to the snake women. Unsure where to go (the book of anicent gods didnt help much) I headed down the caves, thru mushroom forest into the dwarven areas. Eventually made it to the forge after killing the wild beast thing. I activated the forge and the finery (something like that: :p ) with the 2 power stones I found. Used the transporter for the mithril rock I found deep in the dwarf mines. Went up to the smasher thing,where the rock was teleported too, to smash the mithril and the machine (one that powers up the crusher thing you kill first beast with) that I put the first power stone in does not have the power stone in it now?!?! And I can't find another one. Am I missing another stone somewhere? Is there a way to remove one from the other machines?

Any way after spending the whole night searching for another one I gave up and can't figure out how to leave now :( my exit is cut off.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys.

The powerstone are needed to get the dwarven forge working out but not to exit. The key you're looking for, in order to exit this level is located in one of the dwarven night-room if i remember well...

Naturally, now I'm having problems in the same region of the game. I'm trying to forge the sword, I've got my chunks of mithril, my koltk powder, and all the machines have powerstones in them. Now, when I go to put the pieces and the powder under the one-press unit (the oven?), they don't seem to register. My character mutters something about "that's not right", and the chunks don't get squished into a bar. I noticed that for the two-press unit, the press platform lit up and allowed me to place the mould for the sword immediately. Have I come across a little bug here, or how am I supposed to melt the ore into a bar?

to exit the mine, get the key form the bedroom area. the exit door u need to use is in the smasher room that originally tried to smash the monster

to make the mithril sword:
get 2 chunks of metal which are required to make one bar.
the first machine in the forge room is the machine that only has one smashing presser that comes down. you do NOT put the 2 rocks under the smasher. you put them in the oven, which is directly to the left of the smasher. it will look like a little box at about eye level.

put 2 chunks of metal only, press the lever and this gives a cast metal bar. put 2 chunks of mithril, this gives a mithril bar. i assume 2 chunks of gold will make a gold bar. I have no idea about the koltek powder, what it does or if it even exists. but you do NOT need it to make the sword.

now that you have the bars, go to the next machine.
the orientation is that you ar looking at it from the front. you are staring at the lever, and you can see the 2 smasher plates on each side. the Left side is the side that has to get the shape mold. the right side gets nothing, this is where the sword comes out.

so put the 2 handed sword mold in the left side. then go up the stairs and look into the center chut of the machine (on the top, the center hole). put in a bar, then if your mold is in place, go press the lever.

to get mithril sword: use mithril bar and 2hand sword mold.
to get regular 2 hand sword: use steel bar and 2hand sword mold.
(i heard there is a saber mold but i never found it, so i dont know if u can make a mithril saber.)

to make the key (different quest) using the key mold:
do the same as above but instead of the sword mold, put the key mold in the left slab. and put a metal bar in the center.

there are 4 mithril chunks and 6 steel chunks possible. so be careful. you can i guess make 2 mithril swords. and only 3 steel swords (or 2 steel swords and one key... be sure not to make 3 swords or u have no steel to make the key).

Everyone seems to have had no problem crushing the beast. Well I'd like to, I really would, but either I'm not quick enough or I'm in the wrong section. He has chased me out of the kitchen, down the tunnel, across the metal platforms raised above the lava, I got the key from the dwarf body along with the book and power stone, I opened the locked passage with him right behind me, took the first right to a deadend where he kills me, went straight to a room with a lever that won't work - machinery - and a raised perimeter platform accessible by a ladder, there's a locked door and another passage way I've been in with a rickety wooden platform. My problem is, there is nothing to do in these rooms and I can't open the locked door before (I'm not sure if the key works either) he kills me. I've tried a bunch of times. Is it timing or have I done something wrong.:grr:
