I'm on another forum that looks very similar to this one, and which uses the same tags for bold, italics, quotes etc, however on that forum, when you click the button, it simply inserts the tag into the edit field and changes the button to enter a /tag when you click it again. Here, it pops up a window where you have to enter the text in a single-line edit box. Because of this, I've been entering the tags manually as I type my messages.
Is this a setting that can be changed?

I believe the windows are what the <i>Guided Mode</i> option on the reply page does. It seems to remember the mode you used last time, so you probably only need to change it once.

Yes, that seems to be it. I never tried Enhanced Mode before. Thanks!
