simple question. If a mod says it requires Tribunal,Bloodmoon, does that mean that in needs Tribunal AND Bloodmoon, or just one?

Generally both. In some cases, you may only need Bloodmoon, but that depends on what the mod changes and uses.

Okay, i've got two more, 1) I've downloaded Tribunal on to my computer, but aside from a different startup screen (the little window before you start the game) I have yet to notice anything that's vaugely different from Morrowind. 2) I've downloaded from Morrowind Summit, GIANTS ultimate. I've used the Tribunal version, and have also, not noticed anything different. Any ideas what's going on?

Apparently you don’t sleep very frequently.
Tribunal takes place in (and around) Mournhold that is on the mainland of Morrowind, and not the island of Vvardenfell around which you are currently stomping. It makes a very small impact on the world you are currently exploring, only enough to introduce you to what Tribunal has to offer. The other (some would say, only) reason for installing Tribunal is for the additional features that affect how the game runs: new functions. Mods, such as Giants (I suppose–I don’t use it), incorporate some of these new functions. I am not certain what happens if you run a mod without the master files upon which it depends (Tribunal). I imagine in most cases that it will run normally except to ignore the unsupported features. For companion mods that are tied to the companion support provided through the Tribunal master file, the ill-effects may be more apparent.
Soon Tribunal will make its presents known to you, and then you’ll be asking how to make it stop. ;) If indeed Giants depends on Tribunal, the effects may be too subtle to notice yet.

hm, thanks. Why do you say I don't get much sleep?

He means in-game. The Tribunal "main quest" is kicked off when you sleep, quite early in the game (might be minimum level requirement, I don't recall).

Did you go into data files and check the tribunal and giants mods. This may seem obvious but sooo many newbies forget it.

Oh... yeah. whoops. And chimpy, I may have worded it incorrectly, I assure you I did buy Tribunal. I always mix up download and install.

Yes, I was referring to sleeping in-game, but sometimes the line between in-game and real life becomes blurred. Once, after a rather long and intense session of Daggerfall, I woke up the next…well, later that same morning not very ready for work. I really needed to sleep more, but I didn’t want to be late for work. I was reasoning with myself that I could just sleep now, and then reload so I could get to work on time. That’s when I knew I had a problem. :erg:
