I was wondering if the type of bolt has any bearing on the total damage caused by the type of crossbow? ... I've skimmed my manual and can't find anything about this (a few pages may be missing, however) ... For example:
Iron Bolt, cost = 1
Steel Bolt, cost = 2
Silver Bolt, cost = 8
These ones all have the same weight [0.1] ... so what's the advantage of bothering to buy the most expensive ones? Have I missed something obvious?!?!

Iron bolts are 2-3 base damage
Steel bolts are 2-4 base damage
Silver bolts are 3-3 base damage and can hit monsters immune to normal weapons.
