hey, i'm in a bind. i have this game on X-Box. i've played this game through to the end a couple times before. this time, i did every other faction and guild before starting the main quest, and while i was wandering around i cleaned out the Ilumini caverns, and killed Dagoth Gares. well, now i'm on the main quest and caius is telling me to go to the caverns and kill dagoth gares. the problem is, i killed him a while back, and now every time i go back to caius, he tells me to kill dagoth gares.... BUT I ALREADY DID A WHILE AGO!!!!! and i know that i can't go on with this quest until dagoth gares gives me corprus. ARRRRGGHHHHH. i reeeallly hope i don't have to give up. i got my guy up to level 115, and he kicks ass. if this is another unfixable glitch, i'll throw the game away. anyway, does anyone know how to fix this?

If you're so eagar to complete the main quest, complete it by killing Vivec. That way is almost bug-proof.

awwww, so there's no way to continue on this path? i kinda wanted to go through the process again (getting moon and star ring, becoming hortator and nerevarine, etc.), but oh well. if i kill vivec, aren't the ordinators and priests going to be a bit angry? i killed him before (with another guy i made) but i was already wanted by the ordinators so they were attacking me anyway.
