Nice little quest over in Anvil - The Siren's Deception. Be warned though, this will be spoiler heavy if you're not there already.
So yeah, do the leg-work around town, find things out, make my way to the farm, slaughter the women. Simple really. Would have preferred an alternative perhaps, maybe the chance to talk things out, but they were pretty keen on killing me - I had no other options. Then, undercover guards turn up, tell me that they've blatently taken advantage of me in order to do their dirty work, and all of a sudden i'm getting this whole attitude from them!

So basically, my question is this: if you've done this quest, how did you complete it? Any solutions that avoid said slaughter?
As a side note as well, does this quest exist if you're a female character?

Did it with a female (High Elf, had been turned into a vampire that evening), got an offer to work for them after talking with Gogan. When I went to talk with the Sirens in their home the only dialogue option led to killing them.
Could have been better designed.
