I've recently swapped out my two 512 mb sticks for two 2 gig sticks. According to my calculations, this should give me 4 gigs, but my system reports my memory as 3 Gigs. 3070 MB to be exact.
The system analysis utility I use (System Information for Windows) reports that both sticks are working fine, at a capacity of 2048 MB each.
So, what do you all think? Should I go talk to my retailer, or is there something else going on here?

thats normal, 32bit versions of windows (xp or vista) cant see the full 4gb, you will either get 3gb or 3.25gb. Dont worry about it, just crack on with playing games :cheeky:
