How does one get through the gate in the center of the Puzzle Canal under the Palace in Vivec? I can't figure it out and it's drivin' me crazy! Please throw me a bone, someone!

Yeah, what Kilana said. Use the Search button at the upper-right of every TTLG page for hints and spoilers before you post a new thread. As the game has been out for 3ish months now, there's a good chance your topic has already been covered.
(In this case, I'm thinking that Puzzle Canal ranks only behind Dwenmer Puzzle Box in terms of frequency.

I DID search for "Puzzle Canal" and got no returns at all. Thanks for the lack of help, but I figured it out about 5 minutes after I posted the question. See, it just takes a while for my 600 HPs to drain down to the point that I might die under water, and I wasn't patient enough until I got really frustrated. Whatever.
