Sometimes at startup, sometimes randomly between zones. I've looked all over the web and can't find a sure-fire fix for this. Turned off all unnecessary services b/c some people report conflict with other video software.

1G RAM
Raedon 9600
Not sure what else is relevant. Anybody here run into this?

The Radeon card maybe the problem. The rendering pathways are likely more optimised for Nvidia hardware, since it's probably an unoptimised Xbox port; that console had a Nvidia GPU.
This issue comes to mind because of a recent debacle over the Steam release of Stubbs the Zombie. After the game was sold for 75% off one weekend, loads of people reported crashing issues upon loading screens with Radeon hardware. Valve's half-arse "solution" was to remove the game from the "My Games" list of those whom had ATI cards and add disclaimer to the game's Storefront page. They did honour requests for refunds at least.

I played it on Gametap not long ago without issues, so I guess I'll just do that again. Kind of sucks, since I bought the boxed version for posterity.
An X-Box is looking better all the time. :(
