I had trouble with that place too...
Run behind the stash of crates and up against the wall so Xerxes won't go nuts. Then take out the camera after you hear the safety beep, then "snipe" the turrets one by one.
Easy if you got cryokinesis and a PSI hypo or two. :)

On my psisword only run, I had a very hard time with those turrets. Getting past them on the way in isn't the problem - I had 1 Hack and was able to turn off security. But security gets turned back on when you re-enter the map, and there was no way to reach the security computers to turn them off without dashing past them.
I had to use a Speed Booster to get past them without dying, and even then it took quite a number of reloads. (A funny scene happened a few times there, where I jumped forward with the speed booster, and a hybrid swung his pipe and knocked me out of the air. Goggleball: the newest sport...)

Why don't you just let them kill you and respawn at the QRM round the corner in the direction you are going anyway? :p

Because I played the whole game psi-sword only without dying/respawning once, of course!

So you used plenty of savegame reloads instead?
Nameless Voice on 11/2/2007 at 21:15
Precisely!
But it still made it a lot harder, because there were so many times when respawning - teleporting back to the QBRM and having some of my health restored - would have been very convenient.

Yeah, but remember that it costs 10 to regenerate your body (at least on Normal and above), but it costs 5 to get all your hitpoints back with a medbed.

True, but since I'd basically recycled every single object on the Von Braun, I had plenty of nanites. In the end I just bought an insanely huge stack of psi hypos with them before moving to the Rick. I think I had 40+ left at the end of the game.

my favourite bit about playing Psi is the cargo bays; being able to run around waving to to the protocol droids and ignoring their explosions is so much more fun than cowering behind a crate afraid to go down the lift :)

I'm not afraid of going down the elevators if the protocol droids are right under them.
