The guys who created T3Ed surely weren't the ones that created the UnrealEd. I bet about this.
And T3Ed is neither an UnrealEd expansion, since they suppressed a lot of things from the original Unreal Editor.
I don't change my idea. The T3Ed has a lot of function that appears in the menu, but when you select them, they do nothing. It's a shame.

No need to bet. It's a fact. The people (one guy in particular) who
modified Unreal to make T3Ed botched it, and the level designers didn't know it was messed up until they tried to work with it. No one said the creator of T3Ed created Unreal. Unreal already existed and was modified to make T3Ed. The guy who messed up T3Ed did not work on
Thief 3, and the people who made
Thief 3 had that guy's mistakes to contend with. A lot of time and energy and happiness was wasted trying to fix that guy's mistakes, and they gave up and changed plans, changed the mission designs, and lost more time, energy, and happiness. The
Thief 3 developers did not mess up T3Ed, they had to fight with it, too, and they had more knowledge and software to help them than most of us.

That's the same happened and that happens to us today. Now you can understand why I'm so discontented with this software. Even if I knew that the Dromed guys weren't placed better. Too bad there's no alternatives.
Anyway I was able to get the Unreal 2, so let's see what I'm able to do in the next days (after 16 february, when the college let me go).

I'm still very happy and excited to see that there are people putting up with the process and the inherent problems to create admirable missions and resources to be proud of. Kudos!

OK, but admit it: this editor could have been done alot better.
OK, better coming back on topic now.

What? I already admitted it.:erm: Nobody disagrees that it's got problems. We all know it's got problems. Nobody said it did not (did they?).
It's not the Thief 3 makers' fault, that's all.;)
Glad to see you, Ziemanskye.

Just one offtopic comment: If I'm not mistaken your English gets distinctly better, massimiliano. Maybe Judith can like you in a couple of months. :p

The person you guys are currently blaming only re-wrote the 'renderer' that crippled the level design. There were other people working on hacking the guts out of UnrealEd to turn it into T3Ed...there had to be. It's more than a one person job. The guy who wrote the renderer is said to have been let go pretty early, at least that's what has been told by former dev's on the forums.

Next time do your homework in history, before thundering out curses, at least you'll know who to blame.
He wasn't blaming Epic. lol He was blaming the very ones you were telling him to blame....read a bit more carefully. You've got one hell of a pick on massimilianogoi.

Those jackass that created the T3Ed
I was only referring to this, as there was no "jackass who created T3ed", until you're talking about a bunch of guys from Epic :cheeky:. There was one programmer who hacked/modified it, that's all. I guess you see the difference between creating something from scratch and modifying.

It is not the language only that spurns in massimiliano. His manners should be improved too. I know I'm not the one who can teach him manners. So I keep my mouth shut. Judith feels that the truth is on his side so Judith attacks massimiliano. But Judith doesn't see that he will have no victory. It's a deadlock here. And I feel sad looking at it.
