I deleted it after I ran out of space of my hard drive.
Gameplay was above average I think. Story and the comic book style of some characters broke the effect of that...deus ex feeling?

Real is brown, though. :p

You are kidding, right? DX was a fucking comic-book itself. ESPECIALLY the characters, as they were as stereotypically comic book villain/hero as can be.

Considering the heights comic book writing has risen to in the last few decades, that can be taken as a compliment.

I've tried, but I really have no idea what you're talking about. Even metaphorically, this makes no sense. Unless the distinction of hero/villian is completely blurred, every film, book, game etc. is a "Comic Book" by your reasoning.
And that doesn't make much sense.

OK, so I got myself the polish Deus Ex Anthology, which consists of DX, DX:IW and Project Snowblind.
But now I'm getting serious problems with Snowblind - the videos play at something like 0,5 fps, and the game is choppy as hell with garbled sound. Can't be my system specs, as they more or less match the recommended ones, and setting res to as low as 640x480 with both fullscreen fx and shadows off changes nothing.
Specs:
Celeron 2,4ghz
512mb ram
GeForce 6800GS 128mb

How come you guys get all the good compilations?
van HellSing on 24/12/2007 at 20:58
Hehe, it's dirt cheap as well, cost me about $10.

I'm really not sure what posting that link proves, but I'll never forget that giant skull level. That level was
so much fun.
EDIT:
And also, I don't know what you guys are arguing about, but gunsmoke is totally right.
Deus Ex's characters are just as bland, uninteresting, and cliche (and comic-booky) as Invisible War's characters. Bob Page isn't some greedy and power-obsessed figure who grasps the transformative power of technology, but is unable to apply it beyond self-interest, largely because of his callous disdain for the rest of humanity (which he goes to great length to distance himself from, and ultimately succeeds, though this success is not quite the godly ascendance he hopes for, but rather a bitter loneliness ("Don't leave me!") precipitated by his naked ignorance of morality).
He's just some dude with, like, a couple of screws loose, a headset, and a Scrooge McDuck Vault.
