DX:IW has permanently tainted you against bloom, hasn't it?
I'm grabbing it off steam at the moment - I'm not expecting much, but then they aren't charging much for it.

Bloom should never be used "liberally". Ditto for reflective surfaces.

All the extra goodies shown on video looks delicious to be using... Self-building energy-shield seems very fun to use and innovative, and it looked like in the later part of the game you even get to slow time and make self invisible! It's like they only introduced the biotech in the first game, then they explode it in this game with boom bang! I'll go search for PC version as well, or wait til it becomes Xbox360-backward compatible.

Hey, I hope you enjoy it half as much as I am. You get 3/5 of the bio-augs in the first couple levels which is cool. You get the slowing time aug first or second. Another is a bullet shield aug, invisibility, and vision. Vision is cool. It is night vision along w/infrared/heat-sensing vision. Great aug for stealth. It shows exactly what the cameras can see, and it has a limited sight through walls effect. You can BARELY see enemies' heat signals through walls, but it's enough to track basic movements. Anyway, I am EXTREMELY interested in the TTLG opinions of the PC version. Like I said, I have a feeling it is completely different on PC/

I played it on Xbox & thought it was great fun. Certainly more fun than IW which, although I enjoyed parts of it, always felt like a bit of a struggle - partly because of those damn loading times :mad:
The only really bad thing I have to say about Project Snowblind is I felt they'd had a checklist of things to include - like the vehicles and 'gravity gun'. But who really cares when you're having fun.
