Damn... I think this will be one of the few times I actually necro a thread here (2005... hot damn).

I was feeling a bit nostalgic for an old school "Space trading and combat simulation" game like Elite or even Privateer. So as I was treasure hunting... (https://www.mobygames.com/game/2855/nomad/) I came across this title among others on mobygames. The cover art, even though it was simplistic in design, was really well done. It screamed old school space game flair to me. My mind was screaming at me that I had to have it on my shelf for that box art alone. After all, I'm just a sucker for old game box art like that.

But as I delved onto youtube for any videos related to the game in question... I noticed that there was too many references to other titles. But I eventually found some game play videos... & when I did... it was like firing up Elite or Privateer for the first time. How the hell did I miss this title? It just clicks all the right boxes with me. I was sold immediately & began a search on online shops. Luckily enough... there was a brand new sealed box copy on ebay so, just now, I bought it right away.

I was actually in the process of treasure hunting on google to see if the title had a strategy guide or player's guide book released for it. And wouldn't you know... this thread title was in the top three search results for some reason. And I immediately thought to myself... "well whaddya know... good old TTLG." So I had to come here & post...
