Mmm, there must be something with my articulation. This seems to be happening time and time again.
This was a few days ago, so I can't say with a 100% certainty, but what happened was this: I talked to Everett about the mechanic, I talked to Jock about the Mechanic; he said the bomb was deactivated. Now, I'm at Area 51 and Jock blows up. :weird: I'm wondering if I continued from the wrong saved game, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't. Do you really have to kill the mechanic? Because you can talk to Jock about the bomb without doing anything.
For the record, I know how to save Jock because I've done it before. Just something funny is happening this time.
God, I'm severely throwing this thread off-topic.

You have to kill/KO the mechanic for Jocko to deactivate the bomb, that's as near as I can remember. Talking to him without having killed does nothing.
I've been contemplating if I should reinstall DSX again, hmm... :erg:

Since no one is talking about it...
To anyone who spend to much time on the internet (i.e. to people who have a real job and surf the web instead of working), is there any news or speculations about what is happening at SCi and possible consequences on Deus Ex 3?

I read the other day on Shacknews that SCi are no longer entertaining bids for Edios. Apparently Kane & Lynch sold a boat load of copies, despite all the poor reviews and the controversy.

I know, and as an indirect consequence, it seems the shareholders have demanded the resignation of its CEO, its Commercial Director and its chairman (although they didn't ask for the janitor's resignation...)
