and mudi I think i understand what the native resolution is, is it the resolution that i run my desktop at? If so then Bikerdude I run my desktop at 800x600 anything larger then text is to small to read.
So when I ran Thief after reading baeuchlein's post I noticed that the screen switched to 1024x768 at 75Hz.
Following baeuchlein's advice I changed my native resolution to 1024x768 and ran the game and love and behold my Monitors OSD flashed that it was running at 60Hz and the game had no lines or ripples. :cheeky:

"Native resolution" is usually the maximum resolution an LCD monitor can handle. In any case, glad you got it working :thumb:
