I've had problems with the registry. I use dracflamloc's thief 3 launcher to launch the editor and the game. I forget that I've been working with the editor then I launch the game from Garrett Loader but the game is reading the directories of the editor instead of the game & T3 always crashes when I start if I don't switch back to the game registry.

ascottk, use the updated version 2 of the t3launhcer, its now set up to also run as a plugin for GL so that when you start an FM via GL it will reset your registry back to your Play install rather than your registry install.

Remember this is an exe to switch between the editor version of T3 and the play version of T3 and it does not install FMs.

Ok I think then that the issue may be due to the user.ini file.
Could you post the contents of yours.

Just tried reloading the orginal files and played a few just to make sure T3 was working correctly...it is

Ok here is the confusing thing, your editor version has been updated and not your play version.
Could you post the contents of your GarrettLoader.ini file (in your garrettloader program folder). specifically the:
[T3GAME] and line below and the [T3EDITOR] and line below.
