Hi, it has always confused me why all sub-forums have only a couple of pages of threads and date like only a few months back. It has never been a problem for me though, as I could still use search to find those older threads, but that of course requires me to know what I'm looking for. But today I wanted to browse the fan-missions sub-forum to find some recent and not so recent FMs I might have missed (and those not included in Komag's DVD download). The sub-forum had only 3 pages, and it covered so tiny time span that I didn't find even, say, The New Dark Cube contest threads. So not really much help there.
So I went on to advanced search and set parameters to: "Thief Fan-missions" sub-forum, all posts sorted by the last posting date -> too much results, search didn't work. Next I added the restriction of posts no older than a year, and again sorted by the last posting date. This time it worked and gave me nice 500 results (that must be the limit, I can't believe I would have found such an even number :D), but when I try to go to page 2, it gives me this: "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms." I tried some different search criteria, I can't remember all I tried, but every time the same thing: either too much results or can't go to any other page except 1.
What to do?

Just go to the forum and change the "Show threads from" option at the bottom to a longer date period (or "the beginning" to include all of them) and you should see far more pages. You can also use the "Search Forum" option just above the first forum post when on the forum page to search that specific forum without having to use advanced search.

Why not simply visit Thiefmissions.com ?
There you have a nice list of all missions and finding what you missed should be 10 times faster.
