well...I just tried to charm them...
Well....it didn´t work..maybe I´m still to unexperienced...with Magics ...
The problem is, that I can talk to them, but all they say- when being activated- that I have slain one of them...and all I can do at that point is to say "Goodbye", as it is coloured red....on the left side of the communication-box, there still are all of the topics I could talk about...but I can´t talk about them, as I am forced to say goodbye...
well..Do you guys think, that Bethesda softworks would help?
I mean, if i send a nice email....?

i don't know why u still want it, but if u want that 225 magicka points for fortifying your personality only, i think i was not clear enough:) if u customise that 30 seconds spell and make another spell for 3 or 5 seconds, it "WILL COST LESS MAGICKA THAN 225" and will be enough to speak to a single person. but if u want that much magicka just because u r greedy:) u can enchant some constant effect fortify intelligence items... and spend a "dot" for intelligence when u level up. my sorcerer character is a breton (bretons have an extra "0.5 x Intelligence" bonus to magicka that means if your intelligence is 100, u have 50 extra magickas or something like that) level of over 40 (something up to 50) that has an intelligence close to 100 and also some (i think a sum of 35) costant effect intelligence bonuses from items... but,...i'm not sure if he has that much magicka. maybe it is around 225 but i dont think it is much more than that... u say your char. is a fighter, i don't know his level or race, but i think u have to wait a bit more... and by the way, the intelligence bonuses comes from the robe of drakes pride (u have to kill one of gothren's assistants for that), and the necromancers amulet that u have to kill trebonius (archmage of mages guilds - he is in the guild in vivec) for it. i hate the robe because it is enchanted on one of those queenie pink-yellow exquisite robes that i hate, but i use it because it is too powerful (it has some other enchantments as well -fire resistance, reflect) and so the amulet. it has nearly the same enchantments i think...
 ooh...i have to rest...

I wouldn't hold my breath. Try the Elder Scrolls site. There's a whopping great forum dedicated to just that game, I'm sure you can find something useful there. The address is in the manual Sorry, I can't be bothered to walk all the way downstairs for it:p :cheeky:
Kafein on 27/6/2003 at 23:23
:) don't worry... it's not me but i'm sure there are some people that can help u fix that problem... u don't have to contact the creators:)
when u cast the spell, if it soesn't say someting like "your spell failed" at the bottom of you rscreen, it means u've casted it successfully... so if the effect is not something like "1 to20" (that can be a reason because if so, the effect can be only 1) i think u should hope someone to give u a patch to spawn that guy u've killed (if u remember him) or something else to solve it...
i'm sorry...
AzazeL on 28/6/2003 at 00:02
okay...thx a lot...
I posted a message in the elderscrolls-forum...
thx for the hint;)
@patch:
Wouldn´t it be possible to create an Addon, that consists every human being in the Urshilaku Camp...just for me??:erm:
Then ageain, the problem is, would the problem persist, or not?
Ah, another thing:
I tried typing
player->setpersonality 1000 and the same thing with speechcraft...
Now the guys in the Camp just love me, but I still cannot talk to ´em...a pity..

Time to end this guy's suffering...
There's a flag. IIRC, it is named "UrshilakuKill," but that may just be the name of the script. If I have some free time, I'll check. Anyways, just go into console...
Set UrshilakuKill to 0
...and if you actually killed any of them, but left the corpses lying there, click on the cadaver and...
Resurrect
Stopcombat
SetFight 0
SetFlee 0
...which revives the NPC and makes it so that the next time a Cliff Racer comes at it, it runs in terror, screaming for mercy. If you actually need one of them for a quest but you disposed of the corpse or the corpse just isn't there anymore, you have to get the name of the NPC you need, and, standing as close as possible to what you believe is the original position...
Placeatpc "*NPCNAME*" 1, 1, 1
...which will simply place the entity one unit forward from your current position.
EDIT: (Warning... if you don't have the same problem as this guy and you're too dumb to know that there are spoilers in the "Hints and Spoilers" forum, just know that this post now has gigantic spoilers)
Ouch. Looks like there actually isn't a flag. At all. I looked at the script and it showed a journal entry, not a variable change. So then the first command will not work, and the rest will be futile. You'll have to complete both of the Urshilaku quests through the console by an incredibly long series of journal manipulations, or blatantly cheat and skip straight to the meeting with Vivec by...
Journal "B8_MeetVivec" 30
...but by doing this you won't get the Corprus Cure or Rescue Milo quests, nor will you be doing the Nerevarine quests, and the Urshilaku Camp quest will be open in your journal forever. You can also use backpath, which will not be cheating, but will have the same effects as skipping right to the Meet Vivec quest, and will force you through a quite nasty quest line. You can, however, do a combination of the three former solutions by ending the Meet Sul-Matuul quest line now with...
Journal "A2_1_MeetSulMatuul" 60
...then proceeding normally through Caius's quests until you reach the Rescue Milo quest. Do the quest normally until you find Milo, then speak with her but not Master Barelo. After that, you have a choice of whether you want to watch a pretty little movie and wander about the wastes and have the four major ashlander camps pronounce you Nerevarine, then have the Great Houses name you Hortator, of course having the full main quest...
coc "Cavern of the Incarnate"
...and grab that ring. If it's not there, you'll need to try again...
Journal "A2_6_Incarnate" 15
coc "Cavern of the Incarnate"
...and after you see all the corpses and speak with them...
Journal "B1_UnifyUrshilaku" 50
...and then continue on with the main quest like nothing happened. To skip to the Meet Vivec quest, simply follow the instructions on completing the main quest without going to Urshilaku Camp up to the Rescue Milo quest. After that quest, just do what I said before and proceed with the Crater Citadels quest. To do the backpath (although now, if you judge everything by purist standards, you've cheated, defeating the purpose of doing Backpath), just do everything I said until the Rescue Milo quest, then complete the quest and break into Vivec's palace, then bury a somewhat large axe in his back and hope that you kill him quickly. Retrieve Wraithguard from his corpse and go see Yagrum Bagarn (if you did the Corprus Cure quest, you'll know where to find him).
However, killing the Urshilaku off also means a few more things. When I was going through Tholer's dialogue, I noticed that for the Ebony Mail quest, he denies the quest enirely if you've killed an ashlander in one of the four main camps (with the exception of the war-loving Erabenimsun... they can die without any punishment at all, with the exception of making more of the war-loving Erabenimsun want to kill you).
:EDIT
AzazeL on 28/6/2003 at 09:22
ouch....no other way, eh?
Goddamnit...all the liberties in Morrowind are great. But somehow this shouldn´t have happened...Why can´t the program tell me, that killing one of them was a mistake, and I should load a savegame?...
hmm...
Okay, another question....
When starting anew, is it possible, to "import" all the stuff I had in the end( i.e. now), my skills, my abilities, etc.etc?
I mean, if it were possible, I´d just start anew( and yes, THIS I consider as cheating...but I just want to go on with the main quest....), enter a console-cmd, or try to work with the editor and just put all of the stuff into Caius´ house....
The problem won´t be my skills...with the player->set XXX xx it´s pretty easy...well...not too easy...I´d be Level1 and I´d have the skils of my Level 29 char...great...
Uhm..Okay...
So..I need your help on a few things...
- Is it possible to import items, skills, fame rating, etc., when starting from the beginning?
-If Yes, by Console, or by use of the edit0r...?
-If No, wouldn´t it be possible to load items just by using the console...I don´t know the console-cmd´s , but I guess it´ll be something like "give player XXX"...or at least something like it...
- Is it necessary for some missions, quests, whatever to "have" a certain level??
- IF I do all of this^^, would it be okay to just skip the missions I completed?
But again, doesn´t skipping influence the storyline ?
I mean, I was in that Dungeon in Vas, and my Co-Op died while fighting a BoneLord...
If is just skip that mission, would it be a complete success( CoOp alive, necromancers dead), a partial(? sorry, me no native English speaker...;)) success( necromancers dead, CoOp dead...just the way it was the first time...), or can I do something about it, like typing a certain cmd into the console, that tells the program, I completed the mission i a certain way..?
AzazeL on 28/6/2003 at 15:47
Okay..I´ve been thinking a while:
My plan is to:
-start anew
-get my skills back( by use of console)
-get my stuff back( by use of console)
-get my armory back( Weapons and Armor...everything!!!!)
and then, I shall start the whole story FROM THE BEGINNING, doing all the little contracts, retrieving the puzzle box, etc.etc....
I know...this is a bit unfair...but I gotta do it...I just don´t want to lose everything I worked so damn hard for...
edit:
I forgot ONE thing:
I need the console-commands for all of my stuff...like the indoril Helmet, or the Orcish gReaves...
btw: shouldn´t there be Indoril Greaves? I can´t find any!
So please..ermm...you´d help me a lot by telling me the cmds, or posting a link to a site, which lists all the cmds I need!
thx

Is it possible to import items, skills, fame rating, etc., when starting from the beginning?Yes, just look up the ID of the items in CS, then copy them down and do the whole "AddItem" thang. For skills, just copy them down from your charachter stats screen and use "SetXXX," not "Set XXX." For reputation, if you're going to do all the quests from the beginning, you won't need to set it. However, if you have Freelancer or something and you need a reputation boost early in the game, use SetReputation.
Is it necessary for some missions, quests, whatever to "have" a certain level??Only the Blades quests have a level requirement. To set level, use the "SetLevel" command, save, then restart the game.
shouldn´t there be Indoril Greaves? I can´t find any!Nope. In Medium Armor, there are many sets that are missing a few pieces. For example, the Dreugh set only consists of a cuirass, shield, and helm.
So please..ermm...you´d help me a lot by telling me the cmds, or posting a link to a site, which lists all the cmds I need!(
