There's a strange problem with vertex editing, I'm not sure if it's just me or everyone experiences the same - whenever I create a builder brush and enter the vertex editing mode, everything works perfectly, but if I move the builder brush somewhere, I can no longer select the vertices in vertex editing mode, so in order to be able to select the vertices again, I have to use the "Reset All" context menu item to reset the brush position, rotation, etc.
Does anyone know why that happens? Is it normal or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure I'm completely understanding your post (not your fault -- I'm tired and in a hurry), but as a general rule you're better off vertex editing your added or subtracted brush rather than the red builder brush itself.
So first add or subtract your brush in the general area you want it, then move, vertex edit and brush clip your brush to your heart's desire. :)

The trouble is - it's generally the same for added/subtracted brushes (I can't select vertices on those brushes with my mouse, they don't highlight as selected, and I can't really drag anything). The only brush I can really modify is the original red builder brush.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I have trouble selecting vertices sometimes. Try it like this:
Pick the vertex editing tool.
In the 2D view you'll be using, click on the brush you want to change, whether or not it's already selected.
Hold Ctrl and Alt and left-click-and-drag to drag a red selection box around some vertices.
The vertices should turn white if selected.
Hold Ctrl and left-click-and-drag to move the vertices.
The step of clicking on the brush after picking the tool is important. If it still doesn't work with this method, it could be anti-aliasing messing you up. I know anti-aliasing gives the Unreal Editor trouble with detecting mouse clicks.

Thanks a lot! That really helped. My problem was that I didn't know about the Ctrl+Alt selection method and tried to Ctrl-click on the vertices, which didn't work.

If anyone else has trouble with vertex editing or something similar, there's a nice tutorial here: (
http://udn.epicgames.com/Two/VertexEditing)
That site has tutorials for many of the tools used in the Unreal Editor. The one on brush clipping was particularly useful to me.

Ctrl-Alt and drag capture box. Actually occassionally that crashes the T:V editor seems okay for T3ed though.
