I have a little problem with the game. Before I first reached the city of Arx I had to pass by the troll mines. I hit the troll guarding the passage with my axe and he started chasing me. I ran away and took the quest for the letter for king Pog from Lunshire. When I came back to the mines the guard whom I have to show the letter is still chasing me and there are no other trolls, neither king Pog around the fire. Can somebody help me or at least give me a savegame file just after his meeting with king Lunshire?

Hi, Nookie
Do yourself a favour and don't attack anything if it can be helped. I spent my 1st game killing everything that moved and it became very frustating at certain points, although the game can still be completed with everyone dead I think. :ebil:
I have a perfect save game for you if you want it, pm me your email address.

According to the guide I am using, that is indeed the case. It is not going to be a show stopper to kill 'em all.

The game's pretty robust in this respect. When I played as a thief I did the best I could to break the game, and acheived nothing of the sort - but I
did manahe to get into all kinds of places much earlier than is usually possible (I also got a bow much earlier than usual - the one that usually resides in Carlo's pocket).
(
www.it-he.org) managed to do some damage to the game, but it's really not that subversive by the site's usual standards. If you want to see how to
really screw up a game, check out the Ultima 9 section ("Ocean Travel Without A Boat" is nuts, but will likely mean more to those who have played U9).

Even if you haven't played U9 (like me), theres something highly amusing about making bridges across large bodies of water using... loaves of bread.
