Problem with SSII - Makes game Unplayable.

Hello.

I recently installed system shock 2 on my computer. It runs fine, except for when I try to use anything in the inventory menu. Instead of selecting things, clicking just makes my gun fire. I cannot access my logs to get codes for doors, or drag any items around in the menu. If this is a common problem, please tell me the solution.

had the same problem,found this thread after a short search,Kolyas fix worked fine..bit of weirdness: I have two very similar pcs (same chipsets,same cpus,almost the same ati cards,running the same OS,same installs of shock2),one has the broken inventory problem,the other is fine.

maybe (http://www.strangebedfellows.de/index.php/topic,78.0.html) that fix should be mentioned in the FAQ as well..?
