Hello
I have full CD Version of System Shock 1. In polish language. I have completed the game 2-3 times but now i have the problem. I play on dificulty level 2-2-2-2. On the first level of Citadel station when I lower seciurity level to 0% i still can't open the big door to the lift to other levels! Game says "The Door are blocked". What I must to do?

I have only played it through once, and that was on 2-2-2-2. I didn't even have to lower security to 0% to get to the elevator. :erm:
Maybe it's a bug or you are forgetting something.

I thought those doors could only be opened via the switch on the inside, which you need to go around half the map (the section with the radioactive trench and so on) in order to reach?

Are you sure, that you have CD version (with speech and high res graphics) of System Shock in polish?? Thats's strange because only polish version of SS1 that i'm aware of, is on 9 floppy discs.
But back to the question - were you not supposed to open this door from the other side (not from the opening area)?

Thank You very much. It is it. I forgot about one swich. It's activate small lift down to the rom with the main lift :)

Yes i'am sure. I have full CD ver in polish :). only speech is in english. All texts, logs and e-mails and some texts on walls (for example on level one: conversion, here). I can make some screens if You are interested.

No thx. I have polish floppy version, and english cd version. I just didn't know that hybrid version exists :-)
