Ive searched as much as i could over the forums and couldn't find the solution, so heres my problem, i cannot load saves, at all, when i try to load a save, it crashes right as it finishes, i have uninstalled all the way to the point there is nothing left system shock 2 related left on my computer, then reinstalled it, and still cannot load saves, the game works perfectly otherwise, except for crashing randomly when i goto elevators or bulkheads, any ideas?

Create a folder named "current" in your install directory if you don't have it.

Yeah i have a folder called current, with 4 files in it

Good. You wouldn't want to be without it.
Make sure the save files aren't write protected?

it seems that the folders that the saves are kept in say read only, but the files inside the save folders aren't, would that cause it?
i just tried removing the read-only on the folders, and it keeps coming back each time i check it, but its not there if i select all my folders and hit properties.
