I've put some ladders (actors) into a map. Some of them doesn´t work correctly. Game frozen for few seconds and player doesn't get sucked into it. I don´t know why. Every properties are right.
Then i put some pickable doors and it is the same problem. When Garrett want pick a lock and frobbed the door, game frozen for few seconds and then... nothing. I don´t understand it, ´cos some doors works correctly.
Please help.
(sorry my bad english, i hope you understand me)

That's very weird.
I'd recommend you try to re-extract the editor (not re-install, yet), and copy the TriggerScripts back over into your editting folder. Same with the Gamesys (take notes on what you've changed, if anything, because you'll have to rebuild them).
In either case though, that's very weird, and maybe not so likely to help.

I didn´t change scripts and gamesys. I tried reinstall editor and problem is again.
I rotate non functional ladder 90 degrees and WOW, it works. But when I rotate it back, didn´t. Why ????
It´s very frustrating.

That's very weird - the thing is that those animations are tied to the actors: if you rotate the actor it shouldn't make any difference...
So, I have no idea, but I'll let you know if I do think of anything else to try.

I thought that problem only happened with ropes!

The one that sticks in my mind is turning vsync on or off to fix that. However, if it works when the smesh is rotated then I don't think that'll make any difference. Worth a shot though.

Maybe this problem is related to player start orientation. Ladder works only the same direction like default player start orientation. In addition i cannot change it. When i rotate it, in game did not show it ( in first person player every looks the same orientation, in third person player has right body orientation but his head is turned to default)

You must be playing from within the editor. In that case, you truly cannot change the player orientation. If you play from a shortcut or from the game install, you can.
It still shouldn't affect whether or not ladders work, though. That's still a mystery to me.

This may be a dumb question, but how are you rotating the ladders?
I assume it's just ctrl-RMB and drag it around, right? I suppose if you use the rotate tool or the properties it might rotate the mesh without rotating the collision model (like it's dumb enough to do similar with the DrawScale)

I´m rotating ladder via ctrl-RMB
but
i reinstaled skeletal mesh folder, deleted thief folder in Documents and settings, added new player start and finally rebuild mission.
Problem is out, but i don´t know which of them resolved it.
after all thank you
