Hello there
My computer:
P4 3.0 GHz CPU
1024 Mb RAM
Asus P3C800 Motherboard
SB Audigy 2 ZS
Sapphire Radeon 9800 PRO 128 Mb DDR (latest DNA drivers = catalyst 4.12)
DirectX 9.0c
Now I started to play this game again BUT I can´t set my display resolution other but 1024x768 or lower...I WANT 1280x1024. Is there somekind of shortcut command? I tried manually edit .ini but game crashed. with older catalyst/DNA it worked fine...what version?...gimme moment...4.09? Can´t remember...
Thanx up front

Well i've got a Radeon 9800 too but i never tried running it higher then 1024x768 and i've got a 20" monitor. The Catalyst Control Center should still be in beta IMO, Seems i can get games to run better using the regular Ati control panel & drivers. But if you perfer the Catalyst and must have your res at 1280x1024 then go to the previous driver.
I would think everything would be too small at that resolution to be worth it.

..I think 1024*768 is the max official supported resolution.anything higher than that will create problems or not run at all..

I forget the max resolution DX supports, but it's definitely higher than 1024x768.
In fact, above that res it doubles the HUD size. Looks a bit chunky but it's better than having to squint.

Hey, Deus Ex runs on DX 7, which supports up to 2000 pixels, no higher. I'm currently running 1920x480.

3 monitors? What card are you using? Or are you just playing in super-deformed mode?

I'm using the Matrox Parhelia. Everything looks fine, it's just a little blocky from being so large on my screen... but Project HDTP will help that out a lot!

i don´t like downgrade...and 1024x768 has big pixels..oh, well fine..
BTW did I mention that anisotropic doesn´t work either anymore...I KNOW this game doesn´t like it but I just thought to mention.
