When i start FU3 i go through all the menus etc etc and stuff...
but just as im about to go into the actual gameplay the screen goes completely black...and stays like that until i restart the computer...
It happens on both my computers...
1. P2 400
6mb RAM
ATI Rage Mobility (its a laptop)
2.AMD Athlon 1.4
256mb RAM
GeForce 3
Are these graphics cards supported by the game or not... I think thats the problem but im not sure... And yes i have got the patch... tried running it from different colour depths etc...

Yep i had the same problem, i was using a tnt 11 64mb card and got the same, i am now using a ati rage 11 pro and works fine.
There seems to be quite a few problems with certain cards, the soloution to yours im not too sure off?
there is a read me file in the game that tells you off the cards known with problems and a "maybe soloution" but these are not 100% accurate.
in the past i have found that the lower spec cards work fine providing that they are 3d capable.

i will post them on here in a few days(i need to locate the addies in my hard drive)
if you havent already, try downloading newer drivers for the card as this sometimes helps.
