I have a problem after the Cathedral level in Paris. I won this level, and now I have to enter the metro. It crashes every time it loads the next level... but what level is being loaded? It's either the Underground level or Everett. (11_paris_underground or 11_paris_everett). Anyone know which level? I tried loading underground level and it crashes when it loads it. I think it's 'cus I went there before, and put some weird stuff down or something...
Now, I reinstalled the game and everything, it still crashes. I think Underground IS the next level, but do I miss anything if I skip over it? I can load Everett fine with cheats (using the "legend" cheat) but Underground doesn't load... so I am wondering if I should just skip underground.

I also noticed it says "cheats enabled" in the save game afterwards. How do you remove that? I'm not really "cheating"... just trying to get past a bug. I'm not getting anything out of this

After the Cathedral, you have to go to the subway station to meet Everett's contact. He knocks you out, then you wake up at Everett's place. So the subway is just a transition, you can skip it without remorse if there's no other way.
You enabled the cheats to do the trick you mentioned, so the cheats are activated, even if you use them to go on, and not to cheat. :)

OK, you start the game with the -hax0r string, then use the legend cheat to skip to the next level and type in set DeusEx.JCDentonMale bCheatsEnabled false to make it not say "cheats enabled". Save and then play without cheats!

Regarding your problem: have you perchance boosted up your skills somehow, by using the "magic" door at the shipard for instance?

Eh? No, I didn't misuse any bugs or whatever in the game. The only thing I probably abused a bit was the AI :P

No idea what's wrong then :( Something similar happens if you overload the skill points counter (no idea why, but there is one which counts all of them, including the spent ones), but since this is not the case - sorry.
