I really hope I don't end up looking like a moron for asking this, but I've encountered a bit of a problem finding information about... myself. I've recently stumbled upon The Taffernomicon and wanted to submit information when I encountered a problem. Black wrote: "(Your MemberNumber will not be displayed but will help me to make the link to your profile work)". In order to make his life a little easier I began to search for my member number that used to be displayed with each post... and came up with nothing. I tried looking in my profile, the "user cp", even looking at the big list of members. Were the member numbers lost when the switch to vB was made? Or have I just made a fool of myself by overlooking a very obvious detail? Help...:erg:

Move your mouse over the "Profile" button on your post, but don't click -- you'll see the URL that, by clicking that button, you will go to. In that URL, you'll see your User ID. Hope that helps!
(In case you still don't understand, your member number is 12737).

Thanks a lot :)! I'm surprised I didn't notice that in the address displayed at the top of the browser when I was at the profile page. Thanks again, I don't think I would have come up with this myself :).
