I've checked my and friends numbers here in the UK and it dosent look like google has gotten round to us yet - but it only a matter of time.
I find outrageous that our privacy is being exposed with out permission being asked, google hasen't even seen fit to publish this latest breach of privacy either..

Actually Yahoo comes up with the same thing. It appears we're fucked. It direct links to a service that will sell all kinds of personal info for 40-50 bucks.

I always wanted something like this. I miss calls all the time where I get a number but no name. And if someone wants to look me up, let em!

Dude, you can find that stuff free online, and have been able to for the last decade. I know, I used to stalk people for the government.
That is, once you're selected to be part of a Census Bureau survey, changing states or your legal name is not going to get you out of participating. It just drops more work on the people doing the survey to find out where you went - and most of the time, it's not that hard.

Google is making phone book information searchable; stop the presses!!!
Ok, so I didn't actually take the time to watch the video. After clicked on the link, I was met with a shifty talking head and then immediately rolled my eyes and closed it.

I actually I remember showing my classmates in middle school that I could get directions to their house by typing in their last name and city into an online phone book.
