I am 100% fed up with our HP Photosmart All-In-One color inkjet device. We are going back to good old fashioned laser monochrome.
Thus, I'm looking at this one (b/c of the rebate):

I've read some reviews and it seems fairly positive, but I thought I'd ask around to see if anyone has any experience with this printer.
TIA

you do realise that the toner is gonna cost as much as that unit itself...

You can actually buy generic toner that is cheaper.
The HP Photosmart ink costs ~$40 to replace, and it goes through far less sheets than the laser printer will (the laser printer is rated at 3500 pages).
However, if you have a better suggestion for a printer/copier/scanner, I'm all ears. In fact I'd love device recommendations.

Off the top of my head I dont, I too have an all in one Hp device, but when I bought it, I got 3yrs warranty which has repaied itself several times.
but as I am also looking to replace my 'hp' I will have a look around for the both of us. Whats your budget, what features do you need..?
