This is one of my most favorite FM series, in fact I'm currently replaying them now. Well, even if you decide not to continue the series, I will still be happy with ANIR 4, whenever it comes out. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear you may not continue after part four, but I can relate. So, have fun, and get back to editing when you feel like it again.

Hey lady taffer, it's been over a decade the thief series exist. Look around, there are less and less fms released nowadays, I'm not the only one. Without a renewal it had to happen, the community can't let the game live forever just by itself. We just need a good thief 4.
I do hope there will be something similar to what happened with street fighter 4 (even though this game isn't THAT good). The 2D VS fighting community was dying for a decade, and now it got way stronger than it ever was thanks to this game and the hype it created.
But well, just a dream, I highly doubt thiAf will create such a hype.

Yandros you're talking about the fact some parts of the source code were found back recently, right ? I didn't really follow the thread, hope it leads to something.
Right now the things which annoy me are the 7000 elements limits dromed can handle in a fm, and mostly the fact it crashes when there are too many polygons in sight. With what I planned to do, I'm gonna have real problems with both of these pretty soon.

Have you given The Dark Mod a try? It might be the closest we'll ever get to a "true" Thief 4.

I understand completely Drk! Just finish part 4 and let us know whats supposed to happen in the last 2 parts. I hope you do get the urge back though as I would love to se the campaign finished. :angel::thumb:

I'll second this. Having played a lot of TDM missions lately and seeing what it's capable of, I know you (DrK) could do great things with it.

Really? I hadn't noticed that less FMs were being made until just recently. For some reason my enthusiasm for the series and the FMs have never stopped---my interest has ebbed and flowed certainly, but that's it. But anyway, I've never actually tried to create a whole mission myself and all I can do is imagine the exhausting amount of work it must be.
I will be sad to see the series end, but I don't want you to continue if it stops being fun for you.

Im sure there are more than a few Dromed'rs would be more than happy to help out with the completion of ANiR4. If I knew as much as much about Dromed as I do about DarkRadient I would have offered to help!
I think ANIR4 will be one the last big campaigns for T2.

How do you mean? You think that later there only will be small campaigns/single missions made for Thief 2, or do you suspect that the time of making FMs is almost over?
