Status of Rocksbourg 4 :
- Very slow progress
- I'd say completed at 60%
- Release date unknown
I'm so busy these days I don't even know how the hell I'm supposed to finish it. I'll finish it for sure, one day, but if it keeps going that way I don't think there will be a rocksbourg 5, nor a 6... Small moments I have are for fun, I don't want to spend/waste it on dromed anymore. Sometimes I work on it a couple hours, but not much.
I fear I lost interest in the thief series... I don't play fms anymore, it's been at least a year I didn't play thief. Dromed limitations annoy me way too much now, and I lost inspiration somehow. In fact I came back to my very first love, arcade video games, especially VS fighting games (street fighter, king of fighters etc...).
If there is a renewal with Thief 4, if the game is great and the community gets stronger thanks to it, it may drive me back into the thief series. Meanwhile, I try to finish Rocksbourg 4, but it's a real pain. I prefer to play 10 minutes on GGPO than to work an hour on dromed.
That's it, rocksbourg 4 isn't dead yet, because when I start something I do my best to finish it. But the rocksbourg campaign is dead as of today...

Thanks for the news Drk. The screen looks awesome and I understand what you are saying. But your work is AWESOME! :eek: I think we will all be satisfied with what ever you decide to do. I will continue to play your other missions and hope to one day play the 4th rocksbourg.:thumb:

I totally understand where you are, believe me! And if it helps at all, keep in mind that at some point in the not too distant future, many of the limitations of Dromed may be removed. Email me if you want more details.
