Sorry to double post (wouldn't be if sniperguy whose pic I swear a friend of mine had as a teenager entitled "haulin' ass" hadn't been deleted) but I guess you know about (
http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/myshot/) right? One of the reasons I subscribe (and it's the only mag I get since Western Stories went under) is the pics and it never disappoints.
Anyone can enter HINT FREAKIN HUGE ASS HINT and this month it even features a caver article about your area. I CAN'T BREATHE DEAR GOD SHOOT ME I DON'T WANT TO DIE IN A ROCK CRACK.
I'm also severly disappointed so few posted thier own pics here. I can't even complain what with not posting my own but I would have to look in THE TRUNK and then scan and photobucket and holycrap all that and I don't think I have anything worthy but I know YOU PEOPLE HAVE and know that I resent you for not posting yours in much the same way I resent you for not posting your personal stories when I specificly ask for them and who knows I might be sane today if not for your incredible selfishness you bastards.
EDIT: Sniperguy you dipshit. You sent me a PM but have your reply PM disabled. I got nothing against boobs and buttcracks. (

I don't know if you're drunk or what but I fully support this previously unexplored side of the splendor that is Tocky.

Yay jay! Not enough rocks have eyes.
But yeah I'm ripped. The weekend is the only time I have to unbutton my collar. If I have to coax or bully some stories or pics out of you guys then that's the black eye I'm willing to give. Some great stuff ensues. You folks underestimate yourselves.
I did dig in the trunk and damn if there weren't a lot of blurry old photos of some blurry old neredowells. I've got to call some of them but not tonight. Dearlord not tonight. Not a lot of pics for artistic value unfortunately.
But that smile on that little girl I would crush the dreams of an entire nation for. I held my hand in the rain and said "wet" so she held her hand in mine and said "wet hand". She forgets nothing. I've got to learn to stop cursing. You have no idea how much the look in her eye chokes the mint tea from my throat when we play teatime. But you can't capture that with a photo.
Life is wonderful from the grit under the nails to the sweetness of Biltmore reisling (

Renz, the old factory is my favourite too, I'd love to be able to wander freely around such buildings and take pics - but here in the UK, any such structure would have either been instantly torn down to make way for an apartment block or surrounded by razor wire and CCTV :(

ok ok u fag0t
(

(
http://www.zen80200.zen.co.uk/Pics/morning.jpg) Morning This wasn't supposed to be a picture of what was out of my window, but more to capture the atmosphere of being up at 5am.

Also, slightly less pointless, but two of my favourite black and white photos (Don't think I ever did post in your NYC B&W thread, raph, sorry 'bout that):
(
http://www.zen80200.zen.co.uk/Pics/b5.jpg) Waiting For the Off I love that this one could have been taken any time since the 1950s.
(

I keep saying I'll treat myself to a digital SLR but I haven't, so they're all taken with a compact.

My favorite pic is the "old factory" I hope Renzatic will post more.
The only reason I took that pic down was because someone asked me to "Tockey", You dont have to be an ASSHOLE to me about it. You can act all tough yet your still a little bitch to me.
You don't know Tocky very well do you, why don't you chill out, thats Tocky with his sense of humor, we love him dearly.

Yeah, that's what I was hoping for. But for the boobs, butts, bike shot, I'd make an exception. I WANT BBB BACK!
It's about damn time you people started posting pictures. Half the reason I made this thread was to see all your grand photos of neat things. If it weren't for Tocky (God bless his alcoholic soul), this thread would've languished picture free until I had more to post. Which, if everything goes right and no one bails, might be in the next couple.
I've heard about this place near Gatlinburg, nestled deep within protected forest. A town completely abandoned in the 50's. You can still see furniture in the buildings, plates on the tables, beds in the bedrooms. If what I've heard is true, it's like everyone just up and left one day after a few tragic happenings. Stuff like that gets me all interested, and I'm willing to take an hour and a half drive up there to take a few pictures of it all.
Anyway, keep the pictures coming. You've all got some damn good shots going on here, and I wanna see more. I'd go more into detail, there are more than a few here deserving of it, but I've got to get a haircut, take back a phone, and harass people into taking a long drive with me and stay out into the wee hours of the morning. Long day.

That's what wire cutters, ski masks, and elevator shoes are for.

Renz, I did take some pictures with my dads Canon A-1. I got the camera when he passed away. I was the only one that knew how to use it.
I ran into a problem with the camera itself, once again. I had the camera worked on a few years ago, and its doing the same thing now, going to have to take it back in. I've hardly used the camera, I doubt its anything I did.
I do have some pictures, they are ok, just of my daughter going to her first dance, all dressed up.

But I really am a towering radioactive firebreathing behemoth. I thought everyone on the net was.:(
Damn Ulukai, those are damn good. I can feel morning breaking and hear water lap and smell horse crap. Why can't I ever take pics like that? In "waiting for the off" the mind makes a connection between the engineer and the water draining from the train which I'm fairly certain wasn't intentional but works out well.
You don't have to exactly sneak up on Cades Cove Renz. I don't know, maybe there are still places like that accessible only by trail but I wouldn't count on it. Even the empty 1800s cabins east of all the development have a paved road and have become part of the park although the road is so narrow along the mountain it HAS to be one way. They are, however, all authentic and a peek into a harsh and scenic past.
