Ok I finally found a website that is still playing Arx :D
I am stuck I have been through the walkthrough I found and when I get to the stage where I should have opened a passage to poxs's tomb nothing happens. am I supposed to put a rock on the red pressure plate?
Also I am at the dwarf mines now and cannot figure out what I am supposed to do I mean I know I am supposed to find the mithril metal and forge it etc but its not to obviouse how to use these machines. And is the monster really that hard to kill? can I use magic and weapons to lure it into the lava?
Does levitate help?
I am level 7 and have ylside arnour and enough magic and object knowlaedge to do most things.

I can tell you with the creature to haul butt away. You can not fight it. Hop across the lava and the run to the room with the metal pounder, climb up the ladder, I do not think you need a power stone here, and wait until the creature is under the pounder, then hit the switch and pound it. Then when it is stunned, you need to hit the switch to open the pit. Then let it fall in.

Ok I had to go through the room and trigger the black monster stage I had no choices there and now I can't seem to get Aam uslessgar across the f'ing lave pit he couldnt jump a kerb really. I have tried it a hundred times I either just make it to the platforms on the left of the first jump and then have no where to go. Or I simple miss the platform on the right and die. Anyone had this happen with the PC version? the xbox walkthrough makes it out to bee pretty simple and without levitate I am stuck.
please help.

I went jumping around to the right and it took a few tries, its not easy unfortunately. Just keep trying.
