I found the strangest thing in my inventory the other day...
Potion of Heroism.
It fortifies health and fatigue 50pts. and lists no time limit, so I'm wondering if this could be permanent. It further fortifies health and fatigue (not sure of the number) for 30 seconds.
I wish I knew where I got this, but you know how it is. You've plundered one dungeon, you've plundered them all. So my main question is: Is it quest related, or could I go ahead and drink it?
I looked on google but only got 3 pages of results, most of them not even being Morrowind related.

if it hasn't got a price on it, it must be a quest item. if it has, i think u should just try it and see if it is permanent (which i don't think so). if yes, forget about quests , and drink it, if no, do not risk a quest for a temporary effect, and keep it , at least until someone gives u a proper answer:) because i just want to help but the only i can do is giving ideas as you see:D
why don't you search it here?
(and if it has a permanent effect please please please tell me where to find it....'cause i need it too much:( )

I really wish I knew where... Chances are I got it today. And today I was out Artifact Hunting. I got... two rings (Phynasters and... er.. something else.) And I got some thing else.. Really I have no idea where I got it from. The TES editor doesn't give any clues... I'll look on the forums right now for more info.
And I'll go ahead and drink it ;)
EDIT: Hmm... it's only been mentioned once before. Ania found it and used it... HEY ANIA! COME HERE A MINUTE! Heh

And I'm back...
I took the potion. I found out what else the potion does.
Shield 30 pts. for 30 seconds
Fortify attack 30 pts. for 30 seconds
And... no. It's not permanent. Really short actually. I think it's worthless... lol. I'm keeping it next to my bottle of 'Blood of the Quarra Masters' potion. I need to get the Blood of the Berne clan and... the other clan too. Wonder where their hq's are?

You said that you joined the Temple recently? I think that the potion is a rather discrete reward for one of the High Fane quests.
I need to get the Blood of the Berne clan and... the other clan too.
The other clan is Aundae. The blood is part of a Berne quest. You cannot get the blood potions of any other vampire clan.
Wonder where their hq's are?
All in Dwemer ruins. If you see cattle, it's a pretty good indication. However, if you kill the ancients, you cannot do the faction-related vampire quests and you cannot use the clan services, including cattle.
RyushiBlade on 25/5/2003 at 06:08
Weren't you against the temple? ... Hm... but come to think of it I think I remember seeing 'Potion of' something after completing a quest for them. Wow.
No wonder I didn't remember the name 'Aundae.' I'm not a vampire and I don't plan to be (the whole sun thing and no sleep gets me annoyed.) That's why I'm gonna kill them all. They have pretty good loot.
And I wanted the exact names, but I've already found them :cheeky:

u've turned all the threads into battlefields... welldone:p
anyway u were talking (or fighting) about that if u kill the ancients u can't do the vamp quests... where are those ancients that i should not kill? i've just cleaned Ald Sotha... i hope they were not ancients...because i've found an "ancient daedric brandy" there:sweat:
but if the vampire quests are from the temple , i don't mind because i dont plan to join them...:) but if you tell me where those vampires are i would like to visit them:cheeky:
what if i become a vampire? could i continue the quests as normal? or would i get expelled from all the guilds because of a rule like:
"suck another guild members blood and u get expelled"
ok u can go on fighting
:cheeky:

You mean Ancient Dagoth Brandy? It's only required for one quest, probably Thieves' Guild or something. Anyways, the stuff is almost everywhere. It's valuable, but not really practical in any way. And, as I said, all the Vampire Ancients are in Dwemer ruins, with the exception of the leaders of the Berne subclans, who, IIRC, are ancients but are located in Ancestral Tombs.

Haven't been a vamp in a long time, but IIRC, the Ancient for the Quarra clan is in the lower level of Druscashti, a Dwemer ruin in N West Gash or NW Ashlands. However, getting in the Quarra clan won't interest you much unless you're a fighter-type charachter like a warrior, knight, etc. To join the clan, kill one of the vampires (*NOT* one of the cattle and definetly not the ancient or one of the smiths) and search the body repeatedly. If you've completed the Corprus quest for the Blades, this part won't work out because, hopefully, you're immune to disease. If you have completed that portion of the main quest, you will have to cast a "Weakness to Common Disease" spell on yourself. Sooner or later, a message will pop up informing you that you've got Hemophilia. Wait for four days, but remain close to Druscashti, don't stay out in the open, and avoid major settlements. An ideal place would be a smuggler cave or the enterance to an Ancestral Tomb. If you change your mind about this before your four days are up, just use a spell, potion, or shrine to cure yourself. Once you're a full-fledged vampire (you'll know when you are), report to Quarra in the lower level of Druscashti. And no, if you haven't figured it out, the vampire quests are in no way associated with the temple.

Mages' Guild will still let you continue quests as usual (although some of the NPCs you have to speak to to complete the quests will attack you on dialogue), some Telvanni will allow you to continue quests as usual, and I haven't confirmed this in any way, but I believe that some of the more "cultured" members of the Imperial guilds will allow you to do work. Outside not being able to do any quests, normal faction rules apply and you will be subject to expulsion if you break them.
To cure vampirism after you have become a full-fledged vampire, go to Bal Ur. However, after you cure yourself, you cannot become a vampire again, so it's best to find those misc. quest givers whie you still can.

The heroism potion is found in the same dungeon you find the Dragon Bone cuirass. It's an under-water Dummer ruin, just s-w of Ebonheart (pratcilcally straight south).

THANKS!!!
i think i should wait until i finish the main quest and the other faction quests:) and then try being a Vampire... but i m sure they have nice items so i may hunt them until then:) i should just let the Quarra clan live, in case i decide to join them...i thought being a vampire gives me some abilities or something like that.( i know...no sunlight...but thats not a problem...as i usually don't see the sunlight in my real life:cheeky: )
the cattle u mentioned...not cows...are they?... they must be the people they feed on...
yep i think it was the ancient dagoth brandy... 1500golds... although it has only draining properties, it will look good in my drinks collection near vintage, cirodiilic and skoomas:cheeky: until i find the quest to give it...
sugar lips habbasi once wanted me to steal the vintage brandy from the murdered Hlaalu's house in Balmora... but i had already got it a long time ago and was keeping it:) no-one else wanted that ancient dagoth brandy yet from the thieves guild and i've completed all the quests except the ones the guy called "Gentleman....something"(vivec) is going to give ... maybe he is going to...
ok...i'm going to check that underground caves or ruins at Ebonheart that everybody's talking about...:)
THANKS TO ALL
seen any...elvez?:laff: nhah hahhahhaaahahahaaa
