And I thought staves were supposed to be a rare commodity? I've got like 80 of these things.
I think you have this wrong, it's not that staves are rare, just GOOD one. Staff of Burden my ass, I could just HAND the stupid thing over to my enemy and it would burden them more then if I used it on them. A staff that does less fire damage then a starter spell and only 20 uses? Woo, I hit the jackpot there.

I'm dreading what mine will turn out like. I've got the Savior's Hide, and it makes me look like a refugee from a Frankie Goes To Hollywood video.

Is your statue wearing Chameleon gear?
Test-0 on 24/4/2006 at 01:21
I don't think I did. Made a suit of 120% chameleon for screwing around with but I left it at Anvil looking siffy in my house. I think it just didn't spawn it (tried to clip into the boundry box and console clicked around, found nothing), or the townspeople just weren't impressed with my mad dash to save the city. ^^; In my defence, this was my Hand to hand guy, no weapons and only starter spells. I could take the enemy down, it just would have taken too long. :)

xD So... my character has Vampirism... and apparently Statues have health meters. (now lets go to the beginning of my story...)
I first read that there was a Statue that Bruma put up for you, so I went to find it.... and I did. I was looking around, I went up to it and read the little message that pops up when you activate the statue, when I noticed a tiny health meter whenever you looked directly at the Triumphantly posed you. I looked at it, thinking, "Oh, maybe I'm picking up a Guard's health or a citizen's health..", until I noticed it getting smaller.. and smaller... and smaller... This intrigued me, so I stayed there watching the health until it completely vanished, to see who died (since they normally scream out)... to my surprise, making me double-take and triple "WHAT?!?!?!?!", my (brilliant) Statue collapsed "Dead". (My face was all: )

http://img37.imagefra.me/s532/gerni/vat8_25c_u9el5.jpgI stared at it, jumped around, running up to the Guard that was at the nearby Gate and screamed about their crappy job. (XD) I didn't know what to think... so I went to research dieing Statues (google) of Bruma, and the only thing that I could find that was similar, was the fact that your Statue dies if your Character has a Disease at the time of when the Photo for the Statue was taken. I was like, "OMFG!", because my character has Vampirisim. ^_^ I reentered the game, took the screen shot above, ect.
BUT THEN! I like to use the PC console cheats (alot). I have no problem with fighting and questing on my own, it is just the fact that there are certain cheats that make doing so a hell of a lot easier (and faster, eg: Oblivion Gates!). I decided to use the "Resurrect" cheat on my statue, to see if it would make it stand back up, but... o_o

I was like, "WHAT THE MOTHER ****ING BLOODY SITHIS", this added (greatly) to my surprising moment(evening rather).
If you ever have a "dead" statue, you should try this out... its rather fun. o_o Also, your statue will speak to you when you walk up to it. ^_^
Hope you enjoy this surprising story! XDD

Mines on the XBOX so I can't take a picture, But I don't wear armor (apart from gauntlets and Boots) so mines crap. Black Wide Pants, Dark Shirt, Umbra's Ebony Gauntlets, Umbra's Ebony Boots, Black Hood, Umbra and Tower of the Nine Shield. Probably a long with the Eye of Sithis and The Black Band.
