On the right is the Gobstopper girl I mentioned earlier.
Hit that! Then tell her: "You know you liked it."

You did his 'moment of climax' face to perfection!
Thanks...assuming that wasn't a backhanded compliment. No offense; it's just that I've learned that you can never be too sure in CommChat... :erg:

Heh. That's pretty much the reaction I was expecting.
Even if I wasn't saving it for marriage, she's married already, so it wouldn't happen.

Saving it for marriage? I didn't know they made those anymore.

That girl is married? Seriously, what is it with you Americans that you all marry so young?

God, it's true. I think there was a period in the 70s or 80s when late marriage was more popular, but now it seems like we're back to early 20s...a number of my friends are married now and it makes me feel like a geezer.

Could be worse. You can always count yourself in with the noble, honest and easygoing class of Bohemians...

It's a dying art, that's for sure.

Yep. I've wondered the same thing myself. Back in the 50s and 60s if a woman wasn't married by 26 she was pushing it, but that was because people thought that the childbearing was shorter than it actually is. I don't know what the rush is today, although it may be associated with just the normal rush of our everyday lives.

I think it has more to do with them seeking social acceptance and security. The 60s and 70s have helped establishing a social order here where it's okay for anyone to be a single at whatever age. Still quite a few more young couples are marrying in these times.
Enchantermon on 10/11/2009 at 16:23
You could be right about that. Even getting married and not having children is more socially accepted than it used to be.
