:idea: Could there be a numbering system for the posts in a thread? Then if someone asks a question which has been answered before (not realising that the previous answer also applies to them) you could say "See Post 17". It would save a lot of duplication and help to shorten the thread.
This is very applicable to the current Thief Fan 'Mixed Messages' and 'Ominous Bequest' threads.

Yeah. A numbering system is not needed anymore, since we now have got perma links. All you have to do is to copy the url from the post icon on the post you want to link to. Just click on the icon, and copy the new url from the address bar.
