Post main quest questions... - by Melissa

Hello!
I've recently finished the main quest (whee!) and have a few questions for folks. One is concerning a bug, and the rest are just about the story:
(1) Early on, I stole a grand sould gem that contained Winged Twilight from the lady at the top of the stairs in the Balmora Mages Guild. I never sold it because it was too much more any merchant to handle, but figured I'd play around with enchanting once I'd finished the main quest. Also, somewhere along the way (I don't remember where) I also stole a greater soul gem that contained a Dremora. Well, here's the thing: they've vanished from my inventory. I've currently in Mournhold about to start the Main quest there. I don't know when they actually disappeared.
Is there a way to restore them to my inventory via the console? I loaded an earlier save to find out their ID's, but when I use AddItem on those it just loads them as empty.
It's not a huge deal, but I enjoyed having them around as part of my "treasure" (I have alot of stuff sitting in my Stronghold that I can't sell because no merchant can afford them, but the soul gems were light so I never took them out of inventory).
(2) After the main quest is complete, I was able to have a small amount of closure by talking to Vivec and generally, NPC's acknowledge my good deed. :) But I'd love to find out what happened to Cassius and more from the Emporer as he's the one who got me out of prison in the first place. Is there anyway to continue advancing in the Blades?
(3) Other than Vivec, are there any other major NPC's I should talk to to get any sort of epilogue to the main quest story line?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
-M

1) You need the monster ID for both the Winged Twilight and Dremora (I suspect they are winged_twilight and dremora). Once you have these, enter:
Player->AddSoulGem "MonsterID", Misc_Soulgem_Grand
Or
Player->AddSoulGem "MonsterID", Misc_Soulgem_Greater
The Grand one is the Yellowish orange circle and the Greater one is the blue crystals.
2) No, you can't advance in the Blades any longer. Nor will you meet Cassius again. You find out what happens to the Emperor in TES IV: Oblivion.
3) Try the Great House leaders and the Ashlander Camps. I guess.

Try looking for your Soul Gems in some of the evidence lockers first.

Cassius went to the mainland, and I heard rumours about him appearing in Oblivion (the game, not the plane), though it's not really fact.
Apart from the old man who gives you his lucky coin, the Emperor has no place in Morrowind.
There is no way to advance in the Blades after Cassius has left, not without a mod at least.
I fear I've never completed the main quest, so I can't tell you about any important NPC's like that.

For selling the high priced stuff, just use the editor to make a merchant whos carrying about a million in cash, and stick him/her somewhere in the game, he/she doesn't need a shop, but you wont be able to buy anything off him/her, you can only use him/her to sell stuff to.

Yeah, you can buy your stuff back.
That's what I do with Creeper:
"Here, take these 2000 boots"
[pays me]
[I sleep for 24 hours]
"Here, take my 12000 cuirass and give me your 2000 boots"
[trades]
[I sleep for 24 hours]
"Here, take these 2000 boots"
[pays me]
There, I've sold Creeper (a merchant with 10000 in gold) a 12000 item for 12000!
