Weird thing, I have broken post editing function. If I want to edit my post, I click EDIT, the text window is shorter than usually and the save/go advanced/delete/cancel buttons don't work, so I can't do anything with my post. Insertion of smilies into text doesn't work either.
It just happened in the middle of the day yesterday, I don't know what's the cause. I have logged off and logged in back again, nothing has improved.
This doesn't seem to have anything to do with the issue described in Msledd's sticky, I don't get any error messages when I'm trying to post.
I am using Firefox 1.0.7, didn't change any settings in between and never had this problem before.
Any ideas what could be wrong ?

Try emptying your cache. Nothing has changed with regards to post editing, so I expect it is something along the lines of a corrupt cached javascript file.
