Strange thing, now that I think about it I guess I could listen to Third if it was split into two albums - one instrumental, and one with Beth a'capella :erm:

Ok so I read this thread and it sounded interesting so I bought it.
Hands down the most bleak, depressing collection of songs I own. Ouch. I mean, a lot of it is good but it's just a drag to listen to the whole thing. You just badly long for someone to come along and say "you know what, everything might turn out ok after all!" but the closest we get is "we carry on", blundering our way through awkward and confusing, meaningless situations until we may or may not get taken away by wild white horses.
No but seriously also track two slightly morning bell/amnesiac if I may make that comparison.
also on the rip wasn't the guitar maybe worth doing a cleaner take or is it meant to sound like someone learning the song off tab for the first time?
