How often can you say music does that?
Album of the year.
So by extension your lay of the year probably equates to the worst blue balls in all of history.

Hey, someone's got to do it. No seriously I am a magnet for depressed and disturbed females
Hold me, daddy!

I'm terribly disappointed in this. I loved both Dummy and Portishead, but Third is borderline unlistenable, and not in a good way (mind you, I like weird experimental shit). Gibbon's voice seems unconnected to the music, everything just falls apart. :nono:

Gibbon's voice is the music. Everything else just follows.
van HellSing on 16/6/2008 at 10:47
That's the thing, it doesn't.

You lot are just a bunch of bitter poopyheads.
Album of the Year.

Must have been a pretty shitty year for music.

Album of the year so far by miles and miles. Not a single track is filler material, and Machine Gun is one of their strongest tracks ever - right up there with Sour Times, Roads and Mourning Air.
van HellSing on 16/6/2008 at 16:10
Oh I agree, Machine Gun is great!
...well, at least beginning with 2:40, when Beth stops singing.

On first name terms now are we? I'll van Hellsing you in a minute. *puts on terminator soundtrack*
