By the way, the Mall map -- as far as I'm aware -- makes the most extensive use of Targa textures of any Dark Engine map ever. So I'd like to know if anyone has any performance issues related to this
I think I encountered a little slow-down within the Mall, but nothing dramatic/problematic. 800MHz CPU, 256MB RAM, 128MB GF4Ti4200 video card.

Anyone found the ACHTUNG! sign yet?
Found it, read it, took a screen shot :) :)

It might have been, at least from my prespective, better if the recycler was introduced later in the game.
I could never be bothered using the damned thing, myself. Nice to have for absolute emergencies, but
way too tedious to use otherwise. As such, I didn't think it was a problem to feature it early on.

Partway through tlog the voice stops and I get this loud and aggrivating screechy static that I have to cut to a different log to turn off. This COULD be a sign that the zip archive ended up being corrupted.
Possibly. I certainly didn't hear annything like that, that I recall.

Oh and as for the obligotory 'I'm stuck!' segment:
I have two of the reacter core codes and I lack only the UNN commander's code. My guess is his is somewhere behind that red door you can't get past in Rec so...how to get by there?
Obviously you've gotten past this now, but I thought I'd mention that I got stuck at the exact same place for the exact same reason. I found the solution in the original Ponterbee Station thread, but I simply hadn't noticed that switch at all. I wonder if it might be made more visible somehow?

So often I was thinking, "so it's just about done, now. Ok... now." That is one huge station. And then,
the colony. Jesus, it kept going.:thumb:
Quoted for emphatic agreement.

I'd also gotten stuck
where you're supposed to turn life support back on
because I saw the shape from hydroponics and so immidiatly thought that I was supposed to FIND something to put there like a key card or something. Same problem as with thethird engineering keycode, I wasn't looking in the right spot and overlooked what would normally be an oddly placed object.

Anyone tried going pipe-hopping in the boiling-hot-water room?

Where did you download it? From STRANGE BEDFELLOWS or from THIEF MISSIONS?
Did you try other file compression programs than 7-Zip to uncompress it?
EDIT: I just downloaded Christine's mod and it's exact file size is 52 327 131 bytes. You might want to check your file size to mine's.
If they don't match, then your file is corrupted and you need to download it again.

Just finished downloading the 7zip file and its comming up(according to the library computer at least) at 40,365KB. Hopefully that'll fix this rather aggrivating problem(since I hate missing out on what would seem to me like a main attraction here).

If you have Thief 2 installed, the full-sized version is on your hard drive. It's just a screencap from the cutscene after Trail of Blood.

I've got to be the one and only person here that doesn't have T2(in any form). Pity.

Do you mean
where SHODAN makes a snarky comment about taking a bath?
I wasn't aware there was any other way to get across. I guess maybe I didn't bother looking for another way after that, though.

The version from thiefmissions.com is slightly bigger (52 327 136 bytes), due to a change I made for Christine in the readme file.
