Of course we have.
I don't think anyone deletes all their other mods to play an FM.
Well, that's exactly what I had to do in order to avoid the bug. What, do you think I'm making this up?
Frankly, I don't know what's most frustrating: the bug itself or the fact that no one else is experiencing it.

Sounds like something went wrong with the SS2MM install.
Most likely is that your MotionDB.bin file was misplaced or corrupted.

Or simply inexistent. I've searched my SS2 directory for the file but it was nowhere to be found. Alternating between mods must have deleted it, because I swear I didn't touch that file before. In fact, I wasn't even aware of its existence until now.
Anyway, I've extracted the original motionDB.bin from the CD and put it in SS2 directory. Now, Ponterbee seems to work properly.
Thanks for the help!
EDIT: Seems like TF's SecMod is causing the problem. Go figure...

Again, I'm having problems replaying to Ponterbee. I tried to install both Straylight's mod and Ponterbee with Mod Manager, but I immediatly desactivated Straylight's mod after learning that it could mess with Ponterbee.
I then tried to start Ponterbee but after the career selection stages, I found myself on the original SS2 MedSci. The same goes with every other campaign Christine designed.
I thought SS2MM was corrupted, so I reinstalled it, but it didn't help: Ponterbee won't just load at all!
I then reinstalled SS2. I also downloaded Kolya's SS2 tools in order to merge CRF files before reinstalling SS2MM again. However, I'm still getting CTD each time Ponterbee is about to load. SS2 vanilla works perfectly on the other hand.
Any idea what's wrong?
And this time, PLEASE, don't tell me you don't have this problem at home!

Ponterbee Station's videos use XviD compression.
For a while, all my Dark Engine games would crash when they tried to play non-Indeo videos. The problem, for me at least, turned out to be FFDShow.
Check (

Thanks, but it doesn't seem the video codec is the problem: the cutscenes are playing just fine.
Could it be related to SS2MM or Kolya's Tools?

Check the install paths in install.cfg. Are they all correct?

I think I found the problem... apparently, there's a bug in SS2MM that messes with the install paths.

I try the workaround and Ponterbee now loads properly. Weird though: I didn't know about the bug before and I had no problem playing Ponterbee...

Yes, that was only in the most recent (now second most recent) version of the Mod Manager as far as I know, and has now been fixed.

Uh, that bug is still in current (0.0.2.93) version. Fixed version will be released when I have finished implementing other new features in it.
Unfortunately other projects requires my attention now, so except next update in few days at least.
