I'm sure others have already asked this question, but in a bunch of other forums, you can, just like topics, start polls:
Define the options, set parameters and so on.
I know the engine for this board (like any other board) is licensed from somewhere. But haven't you got anyone who's able to script something a poll option?(I am not, unforunately, I'd have done it already if I could)This'd be really cool! :cool:

santaClaws, yes we do have some very talented scripters, and yes such a thing is certainly possible... However, I'm gonna say I agree with Dave that it's not really something we're interested in implementing.
Never hurts to ask though... :)
I also echo his request regarding your signature. We don't have automatic censors in place, nor do we prohibit swearing, but we do try to discourage its use in thread topics and signatures etc. I'm sure you understand :).

Furthermore, it's not in any connection with the line underneath. My signature was like this before (and I'd like it to remain like that); the link to the WTC homepage is my expression of approval of its current content.
I'd really like to leave my sig unchanged, but I of course understand that you disapprove of the sentence ripped out of context. Given my explaintion, I'd like you to answer whether I can keep it or have to think of something else (Aww! I'ts always so damn hard :) )

About your current sig... I can't speak for David or any of the other admin-o-mods here, but what bothered me was the combination of the language and its seeming relationship to the line/link below it. I might suggest that a distinction between the two items and asterisks (f**cking) might make the sig acceptable. I could handle that unless my cohorts object... :)
