I can only assume that the failure of the original poster to handle the heady responsibility of starting a thread on an internet forum is some kind of multi-layered satire.
Also I think this is definitely an issue which can be summarised extremely easily by selecting one of several single-line options. That's almost certainly the kind of simplistic situation we're dealing with here.
