Thats the point, it proves nothing except that its very easy to bait the police then video tape the beat down ... and subsequent handcuffing.
Did you read his webpage? Meyer pulls stunts like this for attention. Scroll up for the link.
What I find interesting is - the university damn well knows that this sort of thing happens all the time ... why even have police at these events if the audience presents no threat to the speakers? Then when this sort of thing happens the first thing the university does is throw the police (effin pigs!) under the bus.

The police should be criminally prosecuted and he should sue them.

Yes, he goes on a bit, but that's not unusual for a political forum and I see absolutely no reason for the police to intervene.

Wait a sec, did he say that himself?
There are
a lot of unsubstantiated claims doing the round.

We can always go one better. There will almost always be worse situations elsewhere.
That's really not an argument in favour of the police dragging someone away after Kerry had said he could speak.

I'm shocked. You mean to tell me that his Attorney and fellow organizers support his claims?
This changes everything. Or not.
What I actually said was that the police's version of events was challenged - not just by his friends but by the university.
Why would you 'gladly go with the officers' version of events ?
You mean to tell me that the police support their own version of events ?

Sorry to keep flogging the dead horse here, but I actually heard a report about this on ABC (australian) radio yesterday, and I found it highly disturbing.
It featured (
http://www.winknews.com/news/weird/9906352.html) another story of a woman who was drunk and crazy, and was tazered an nauseum. Although yes, she was going bezerk and trying to kick out the car windows, just listen to her screaming. Can you seriously listen to someone in that much pain and distress, and simply say "she deserved it"? Also, surely this is a situation where the taser wasn't an effective method. It just seemed to make her more agitated...

If you want a woman meek and submissive... horse tranquilisers, or systematic degradation through violent physical and psychological abuse.
