Look at us, Ukraine I mean. No NATO, no any substantial presence or interests of the US.
lol wut? Wasn't the whole Ukranian situation the result of a (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbOwfeoDX2o) coup by the US? I'll take the communist Russians over the capitalist Americans, thank you very much.

North Korea is another example of your ideal of a sovereign nation it seems. You endorse a world order where the whole world can't do anything with a small clique of crazy degenerates and sadists who literally torment millions of people.
Good little sheep, you've been taught well. Anything that opposes the US/Europe = evil Nazi fascist. It's funny how simple words like sovereignty have become swear words. It used to be, sovereignty was the only thing that could offer freedom to its people.
The world you endorse is a global world, without borders or nations. But that's also a world without culture, history, past, or identity. A homogenized world run by private corporations where people are enslaved by debt, and low wages, and are brainwashed by TV. You'll probably have your world, so don't worry.

I don't think there is any sense in discussion with you.

Today the ruling party passed an act that lets them ignore the constitutional court. Soon this will be as much of a democracy as Russia is. I guess Manwe will be happy.

I'm pretty sure the US killed more people over the last year alone than Russia did in the last decade (discounting their own citizen, otherwise you can probably double that number). Ditto for invaded countries. Were the Russians responsible for the complete destruction and subsequent descent into utter chaos of Irak? Afghanistan? Libya? Syria? Going back further, how about the Bay of Pigs incident, was that democratic? How about the invasion of Vietnam because they feared the communists would win in a free election, was that democratic? What about Hiroshima and Nagasaki, or the Indian genocide, was that the mark of a peaceful, benevolent nation? How about the constant drone bombings of innocent civilian populations in sovereign nations, would you call that democratic? How about funding, training and arming terrorist groups, democratic enough for you? How about their greatest allies, the Saudis, the Qataris and Israel, are they paragons of democracy too? If so, I don't think you understand what democracy means.
The US is not a democracy, it's an oligarchy. The fact that in every election the candidate who spends the biggest amount of money on campaigning wins, should give you a hint as to its true nature. Democracy is in fact the greatest enemy of the US. This is why their founding fathers created the political system they are still using today. Because they hated and feared their people. And rightfully so, since they were mostly rapist and thugs. But that was over 200 years ago. The fact that this system has remained virtually unchanged from then tells you everything you need to know about the value these people place in the concept of democracy.
Now I don't know the situation in Poland. I don't know anything about these guys. But if they're opposed to the US, the biggest threat to freedom and peace in the history of mankind, then I'd say they're onto something.

Well,
someone's drifting from hyperbole into outright farce.

if they're opposed to the US
They aren't.
The nighttime invasion wasn't really directed against NATO or the US. It was a local display of power. They just seem to have completely no consciousness as to how the fuck this particular act made them look like internationally.
With this, please stop derailing the thread.

Yeah, most people just want to live a peaceful, honest life with a decent job, and be treated with respect. Things like "compatriots", "tradition" and such are big words of those who want to force their views onto others. It's not like there's a sense of one big community or a nation here. You can see that in how Poles treat public space. It's not like they feel it's something for all us to share and feel part of. It's either private property or nobody's space where you can throw trash, and take a piss under a wall or lantern pole, "somebody" will take care of it.
Only in recent years, there have been some (slow) improvements in this regard. The NGOs trying to raise awareness among people, that a quarter or district is their space to care about - and there are things you can do to improve quality of life in your immediate surroundings. But those are grassroot initiatives, not something the city or state cares about. Even then, such NGO activists and street workers were treated with extreme distrust, as locals feared they were e.g. bailiffs in disguise or other state representatives, trying to take something away from them.

Sure, they're not commies anymore, but they're still the only serious opposition to the US. Between Satan and a street thug, I'll choose the street thug. He might screw me over, but at least I'll get to keep my soul.
